    Lone Star Specialty Products purchases the tar distillation facility, formerly owned and operated by Reilly Industries. Reilly’s plant had been in operation since the 1950s.

    Replacement of all four tar distillation units, the core of the facility, among other major capital investments.

  • 2012-2014
    Additional tanks built to add considerable storage capacity and capabilities for both tar and distillate throughput.

  • 2014
    Distillation through put doubles from previous years with the signing of multiple, long -term supply agreements and continued diversification of customer base.

  • 2015
    Extended operating permit granted, significantly increasing capacity.

  • 2016
    Storage and throughput capabilities expanded through new tank space in west Tulsa, Oklahoma.

  • 2017
    Installation of flaker equipment adds solid pitch to the Lone Star product mix.
